Next Steps

If you'd like to move forward with having your ceremony on our mountaintop the next step is to sign our contract and make the initial deposit of $1000 (towards the package price and total price of the wedding).
A different option is our Save the Date Agreement for $500* different rules apply

Payment

The easiest way to pay is via Venmo (apps with no fees)

Paypal - if you'd like to pay with PayPal there is an additional 2.9% fee.


Additional Requirements

We do require that you get general liability insurance for your wedding. A liquor license can be added to your liability insurance in case alcohol is being served. Elopements with 2h or less and without alcohol are an exception. The general liability insurance should be around $150. We recommend using WedSafe or Markel (check the links below), but you're welcome to use other insurance companies as well. Please send us a copy to us at least a month before your event.

Remaining Balance + Security Deposit

The remaining balance and the security deposit ($500 for Weddings and $200 for Elopements) will be due 180 days before your event or sooner for last minute events. Excessive cleaning, additional time or guest count costs are not covered by your liability contract and will be withheld from the security deposit. If everything is ok, the amount will be refunded a week after your event. 

Cancellation Policy

 

  1. All cancellations must be in writing. 


  2. Cancellations made within three (3) days of Initial Deposit payment and/or the wedding contract signed: All money paid is refunded.


  3. Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to the event: 50% of the TOTAL package price is forfeited by Client. 50% of the TOTAL package price is refunded.


  4. Cancellations made less than 180 days prior to the event: The entire package price is nonrefundable.


  5. Cancellations made up until the date of the event, 100% of the Security Deposit of $500 for Wedding and $200 for Elopements will be refunded to the Client.



Cabin Heaven LLC may cancel rentals due to inclement weather, emergency conditions, or events beyond the control of Edney’s Bearwallow Property. In case of cancellation initiated by Cabin Heaven, all rental and deposit monies will be refunded.
