Initial Deposit
If you'd like to move forward with having your big day on our mountaintop the next step is to make the Initial Deposit and sign our contract. Let's break it down for you:
1. Make the Initial Deposit
Your first step is to reserve your date by making the Initial Deposit. That will lock in your date and goes toward the package of your choice. Your payment plan will depend on how far away your event date is.
≥ 9 months from event date:
More than 9 months from the event date: 1. Initial Deposit $1000 2. 50% of package price (1 month after the initial deposit) + 50% of Add-ons (If you require any service or add-on beyond our package you need to pay 50%). 3. Remaining balance (2 months after the initial deposit). 50% remaining of the Add-ons) ≥ 7-8 months from the event date: 1. Initial Deposit $1000 + 50% of package price 2. Remaining balance (1 month after the initial deposit + 50% remaining of the Add-ons) ≤ 6 months from the event date 1. 100% of the package price (If you require any service or add-on beyond our package you need to pay 50%). 2. 50% remaining of the Add-ons (1 month after the initial deposit).
6-8 months from event date:
6-8 months from the event date: 1. Initial Deposit $1000 + 50% of package price 2. Remaining balance (1 month after the initial deposit + 50% remaining of the Add-ons)

​​Our Initial Deposit Agreement is designed to ensure a “lock” on your date and goes toward the package of your choice.
Initial Deposit Cancellation
Cancellations within 3 days of Initial Deposit payment receive a full refund; after 3 days, the Initial Deposit payment is nonrefundable. More details here.

Fees: you can transfer via venmo without fees, however, if you choose Purchase Protection you'll pay an additional 1.9% + $0.10 fee.

How to scan a QR code with the Camera app
Open the Camera app from the Home Screen, Control Center, or Lock Screen.
Select the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the viewfinder in the Camera app. Your device recognizes the QR code and shows a notification.
Tap the notification to open the link associated with the QR code.

Contract
Once you have signed our Initial Deposit Agreement, to complete your full contract, we kindly request the following information: First and Last name from bride and groom, Email from bride and groom, Date and Time of the event, Time of the ceremony, Package Chosen and any Add-ons. Remaining Balance
The remaining balance will be due 180 days before your event or sooner for last minute events. If your event date is less than 6 months away the remaining balance should be paid a month after your initial deposit.
Security Deposit
The $500 security deposit will be due 180 days before your event or sooner for last minute events. If your event date is less than 6 months away the remaining balance should be paid a month after your initial deposit.
We have rules and guidelines that must be followed, such as guest limits, additional time, noise restrictions, etc. If the rules are broken, the deposit may be partially or entirely forfeited. The refund will be processed two weeks after your event if everything is in order. In the event of cancellation, the security deposit will be refunded. You can find more details in your contract.
Add-ons
Ready to secure an extra service or add-on? You can do so with either full payment or a 50% deposit of the total cost. Once we receive your 50% deposit, the add-ons or services you've chosen will be considered reserved. It's important to understand that this deposit is non-refundable. Check out more details for a complete overview.
Additional Requirements
We do require that you get general liability insurance for your wedding. A liquor license can be added to your liability insurance in case alcohol is being served. The general liability insurance should range from $75-$150. We recommend using WedSafe or Markel, but you're welcome to use other insurance companies as well. Please send us a copy to us at least a month before your event.

Property Access
The access to our property will start at the event time mentioned in the contract. The start of the event time indicates when the access to the property begins, not when the ceremony starts. The ceremony start time must be at least 1h after event time begins for weddings and at least 30 minutes after event time begins for elopements to give guests time to arrive, park, find your seat. You're more than welcome to bring in personal decorations to customize your space. Just remember that when arranging them, please make sure they fit within the event timeframe and don't conflict with the items Cabin Heaven has already set up for you.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Initial Deposit Cancellation

Cancellations made within three (3) days of the Initial Deposit payment: A full refund will be provided.

Cancellations made more than three (3) days following the Initial Deposit payment: The entire Initial Deposit payment is nonrefundable. Failure to sign and return the Initial Deposit Agreement does not offer waiver of this right.
Package Price Cancellation -
Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to the event: 50% of the TOTAL package price is forfeited by the Client, with the remaining 50% refunded minus the nonrefundable initial deposit. Failure to sign and return the wedding contract does not offer waiver of this right.
